Your downline will do what you do. They will not do what you say to do. Your activities are under constant observation
You can impress your downline with your vast knowledge of the "how" and the "why" and the "what" and the "who's" of network marketing. You can tell them to "do this" and "do that", and "don't do this" and "don't do that".
But if you aren't doing the things that you tell your downline to do, or if you're doing things you told them not to do, then it's just a matter of time before you'll be exposed for being a hypocrite When that happens, you lose credibility, and you lose the ability to inspire your downline.
Newly sponsored networkers can imagine many obstacles which are all due to lack of experience and the relative training. "I just can't find good people." "I need to find workers. Nobody wants to work anymore." people are lazier than they used to be. All are typical excuses of unskilled networkers.
These excuse’s are even prevalent amongst longer term networkers. There is a simple test to really expose how effective they have been. Simply divide the number of people they have sponsored by the number of years to identify how serious and effective they have been.
You will be likely or even astonished to find that they could have been in the business for 10 years or so and sponsored only about 40 people. That’s 4 recruits a year. One every 3 months. That’s so insignificant that there isn’t any worthwhile objective that would show an increase in value for such little comment.
Is that a serious commitment?
Is that hard work or best effort?
Think of the message that poor performance sends the downline. That record does not indicate professional performance and cannot be inspiring to others.
Recruiting is about continually building a customer base from which networkers will emerge. This is about constantly building a pipeline. You need to be dedicated and disciplined because the rewards exceed any other system for financial independence, "Network Marketing rewards those people who work hard and who work correctly. If you work hard and your methods are correct, then success will happen for you." By your actions you become an inspiration and example for others to follow.
Success is entirely in your hands.
